Easy to do snacks

Your guests are coming and you are in a great hurry. But you want to serve your guests with some of the delicious snacks then here are few of the easy to do recipes.
** Potato cutlets
* Ingredients
Potato- 150g
Fat- for deep frying
Salt- 1/3 tablespoon
Onion- 1/2 small
Bread slice- 1/2 small
Green chilli- 1
Egg- 1/4
Dry bread crumbs to coat
* Method
Boil the potatoes, peel and mash them. Chop the onions and green chillies. Mix all the ingredients well, add salt, chili powder and lime juice. Make thick flat rounds, dip in beaten egg and roll the cutlets over the bread crumbs. Remove the excess bread crumbs. Fry them in hot grease till it turns brown. You can serve it with tomato ketchup.

** Vegetable pakoras
* Ingredients
Beans- 30g
Water- about 2 tablespoon
Salt, ajwain and garam masala- a little
Ghee/ oil- for deep frying
Potato/ onion / cauliflower- 80g
* Method
Make batter with besan, seasoning, oil and water. Wash and slice the vegetable thinly. Sprinkle little salt and chilli powder on them. Then heat the oil in the fring pan. Dip each piece of vegetable into batter and deep fry the pakoras on medium heat till golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
** Sakar paras
* Ingredients
Maida- 60g
Fat- 2 tablespoon
Sugar- 50 g
Ghee for deep frying
* Method
Make a dough by adding salt, ghee and water to maida. Make sugar syrup of three thread consistency. Roll out the dough to 1 cm thickness. Cut into small squares. Fry them in hot ghee. Put them in sugar syrup. Remove so that syrup dries into crystals over it.
